The intense, natural beauty of Dutch Henry Canyon, along the eastern side of the Napa Valley, is the setting for our Estate vineyards. Sherry's Acre is a tiny vineyard of 1.2 acres surrounded by mountains and encircled by an enchanting creek. Each fall, irresistibly ripe fruit in this remote and bear-friendly site attracts an ursine family of three.
Old growth forests surround both parcels of the Meadows Vineyard and create a very unusual microclimate. Ripening is extended over a long summer in this cool area, with picking usually occurring over Halloween. The fruit flavors are intense and concentrated.
Cloudy's Vineyard, located high above the Valley floor, is very special. The fruit from this two–acre "home" vineyard usually ripens by the end of September and the fruit flavors are "mountain–like" with intense blackberry and cassis nuances and abundant tannins.
