2013 was a near perfect vintage in our valley. The wines offer something to satisfy various consumer preferences. There is instant gratification for those who like the freshness of a young wine. However, this Syrah has serious backbone and will continue to develop for those who prefer to age their wines for a few years.
The intense inky color matches delightfully with the deep and brooding nose. Rich black fruit combined notes of white pepper and hints of smoked bacon and a long finish are characteristic of this wine.
Due to our incredibly small production in 2013, this wine was not submitted for critic reviews.
