2014 Vagabond Syrah

$60.00 $720.00

Hand harvested and pressed with care, this wine was aged in barrel for 24 months to capture a fruit driven profile. Visually, the color is a remarkably intense purple hue indicating its raw power. On the palate, firm, fine grain tannins grip the entry, progressing to a rich, luscious mid-palate and culminating in a generous, yet balanced, finish. Aromatically, the wine boasts aromas of freshly cracked black pepper, vanilla, butterscotch, tobacco, black cherry, and cassis.

Wine Enthusiast, October 2020

A 100% varietal wine made by Kirk Venge, this tiny-production offering is concentrated in leather and dark baked fruit. Rich and rewarding, it wears its voluptuousness well, showing the palate with firm chewy tannin and integrated oak.
